Businesses, enterprises and unions
In comparison to civic initiatives, businesses and enterprises have a slightly different approach to dealing with right-wing extremism, right-wing populism, racism and anti-Semitism
as courses of action may be somewhat limited or require adaptation to internal procedures and hierarchies. This is only exacerbated by a fear of a loss of image if, for example, racist, anti-Semitic or extreme right-wing incidents – or worse, personal data – from within the business or enterprise become public.
The rise in discriminatory positions in public discourse and the formation of new right-wing populist movements has resulted in many businesses, enterprises and unions wanting to confront potential internal issues, with some even expressing a desire to publicly position themselves against right-wing extremism, racism, anti-Semitism and/or right-wing populism.
To this end, we have been advising and supporting businesses, enterprises and unions with the maximum degree of sensitivity and in consideration of the respective business conditions for many years.
MBR consultations in these fields may focus on:
- Differentiated and continuously updated training modules for multipliers in businesses, enterprises and unions.
- Design and implementation of incident-related or preventative training measures for HR managers and staff.
- Advice and support in the development and implementation of operational and internal policies including works agreements, house and event rules, mission statements and codices.
